Abstract

This study aims to reveal the long distance marriage to husband and to determine the factors that lead to long distance marriage. The research subjects were three husbands who left their wife work into women workers (TKW). The research method used the method of qualitative research with phenomenological approaches. The conclusion of this study is three informants equally not expected to live far away with his wife, three informant claimed first apart with a wife there is a sense of loneliness, other than that they should be able to serve two roles at the same time for their children is as a father and as a mother. Boredom was often perceived by the three informants. To maintaining marriage survive is to commit and give confidence each other, do not do negative things that are beyond the limits, and always communicate. Factors that cause the occurrence of long distance marriage is caused by two factors, namely micro factor and macro factors. Micro factor more due to the economic needs urgent and must be met, namely the need to build their own shelter. The macro factors that lead to long distance marriage emphasis on the company's decision to implement the contract system of employment .
