Abstract
Adversity Quotient (AQ) is the intelligence in struggling to overcome difficulties. A climber type student has a high AQ. This type of student is persevere, tenacious and tough in facing difficulties. They always strive to find the way out when facing difficulties. They never let anything get in their way to their dreams, that is why AQ is really needed in learning process, whether it is at home or at school. With that said, student's Adversity Qoutient needs to be cultivated continuously and to be applied in any learning, i.e through inspirational stories that touch and awaken student's conscience to be able to change and improve. With their imagination and high ability to imitate, school children will easily copy the struggling of children around the world. The stories may be taken from many sources, such as stories of great people who went through hardships during their childhood, like Rastilullah SAW and his friends, story ofthe president of South Korea, president of South Africa and other stories of children who became heroes to their families and friends.
