Abstract
Sepakbola Gajah is the term for the unfair football game, where two teams compete equally want to budge. In a game the big eight Divisi Utama 2014 which brought PSS Sleman with PSIS Semarang, created 5 own-goal in 10 minutes of the match and the final result 3-2 for the victory PSS Sleman. The controversial incident invite the attention of a large public. Accordingly, the mass media have an important role in providing information related to the case sepakbola gajah. Especially after the recognition of four former PSS Sleman which reveal the true facts. This study aims to find out, how the framing of reporting cases of sepakbola gajah between PSS Sleman with PSIS Semarang at the Daily News Tribun Jogja. This study uses Framing theory, the method of analysis approach model of Robert N. Entman. In addition, another theory used in this research is the theory of agendasetting. Results from this study indicate that the frame of the Tribun Jogja is about justice of laws. News published tend to be mild, with the contents of a strong and coherent message. The information presented in accordance facts and easily understood by the reader. Keyword: Framing Analysis, Sepak Bola Gajah, PSS Sleman vs PSIS Semarang.
