Abstract

The objectives of the research are get to describe The implementation Library National Standart (SNP) 003:2011 in the management of Public Library Bantul regency. This research is call descriptive qualitative, collecting data of this research was using interview method, observation, and documentation. The data analysis was using data reduction, data presentation and make conclusion. Meanwhile the validity test in this research was using crediblity test, transferability test, and confirmability test. The research result: there are 40 amount of implementation component, 24 component included fill the standart SNP 003:2011 (collections per capita, type of collection, collection development, location and/or land, a library room, a library in cooperation with other agencies, the number of members of the library, borrowingeach exslempar, satisfaction levels library users, head librarian background S1 / Diploma library or nonlibrary by following training areas of the library, the librarian staffs, vision library, the mission of the library, the establishment of libraries, organizational structure, duties and functions of the library , the institutional status of the library , the work program of the library, applying management principles, planning perpustakaaan, organizing libraries, control libraries, reporting, and budget), 7 component just included a part of the standart SNP 003:2011(reference collections, organizing library materials, collections care, buildings, service facilities and means of work, type of service, the library manager and coaching staff) and 10 component not yet fill the standart SNP 003:2011 (age collection, expenditure library materials(budget), minced over and weeding, provision of computers with internet, library operating hours, the number of physical visits per capita per year, the number of transactions of circulation, the total number of library personnel, the number of library personnel who have qualified in the field of library and the amount of the operating budget of the library ).
