Abstract

This Research aims to determine the factors that affect the profitabilty of Islamic Banking in Indonesia, both of the internal and external terms. The level of bank profitability is measured by using a ROA and the factors of comparison, such as internal variable banking by using CAR, BOPO, NPF, and FDR, meanwhile the external variables are BI Rate and Inflation. This reasearch is important because based on data in 2015 the growth of Islamic Banks dropped dramatically from previous years. The population used for the study is Islamic banks whose financial statements have been published to Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) from 2011 to 2015. For its Sampling in this study used purposive sampling obtained three Islamic Banks. The data of this study used secondary data from the website of each bank and also OJK. The method of data analysis which was used is multiple linear regression analysis. The result of the research indicate that the CAR had significant influence with positif direction and variable BOPO had significant influence with negatif direction. While other variables such as the NPF, FDR, BI Rate and Inflation has no effect on ROA.
