Abstract

Bank is one of the financial institution which have activities to raise funds from public in the form of savings and distribute them to the public in from of credit or other form. The purpose of the banking business is gain profit. The purpose of this research is to examine financial performance BNI Syariah with Economic Value Added method. The object of this research is PT. BNI Syariah. Data used in the form of secondary data is historical that the financial statements have been published. The period used for the study is 6 years, from 2010 – 2015. The results of this research found that Economic Value give value added when expense lower than profit. Eventhought BNI Syariah get increase of profit but it not give value added.
