Abstract

BMT Mitra Usaha Ummat in its operations moves in the dual function as the Baitul Maal (charity) and Baitul tanwil (business institutions) whose activities are raise and channel funds to the community using the principle of profit sharing. The number of customers who apply for credit with different economic conditions, requires foresight in supporting lending decisions, to avoid mistakes in making decisions that may result in losses. This is due BMT Mitra Usaha Ummat does not have decision support systems relating to the feasibility of granting a loan. Application that implements fuzzy logic is one solution to the selection of customers who will receive funds providing loans or credit. The method used in the calculation process is using Mamdani method by determining the input variables and output variables that are set firmly. Then change the input variable into fuzzy sets with fuzzification process. The next step is to calculate the defuzzification process using the centroid method. While the results of output in the form of grades on criteria received, considered and rejected. From the results of studies carried out, it can be seen that the calculation of the system built is the same as the results of calculations performed using matlab. Overall, the system is able to recommend to the BMT in determining which customers are entitled to the loan / credit.
