Abstract

Chicken eggs became one of the daily necessities, in addition to other sources of protein, eggs also contain many vitamins that are good for health. To increase the number of egg production there are several factors that influence it, such as the number of chickens to be bred, feed that should be given, room temperature that should be maintained, the amount of water that must be given, and the wide of the henhouse. Application that implements fuzzy logic is one solution to predict the outcome of the breeder’s egg production in order to maximize their production and achieve maximum benefit. The method used in the calculation process is using Mamdani method by determining the input variables and output variables that are set firmly. Then change the input variable into fuzzy sets with fuzzification process. The next step is to calculate the defuzzification process using the centroid method. While the results of output is a forecast production of chicken eggs. From the results of studies conducted, it can be seen that the calculation of the system built reach accuracy rate of 93.2% compared with calculations using matlab. Overall the application built could provide an overview on business owners of chicken farm how to increase egg production.
