Abstract

This study aimed to test whether there is any influence between the benefits of investment, minimum capital of investment, motivation, return, and the education of student's interest in investing in the capital market. The object of this study were students of FEBI UIN Sunan Kalijaga. The sampling methods collection used is the purposive sampling. The sampling taken as many as 84 students. Further analysis of data using multiple linear regression method with SPSS 17.0. The results of the testing that was done show that: first, the variable benefits of the investment have significant influence on variable interest in an invesment of 0.238 or 28.3%, variable minimum capital of investment of at least a significant impact on variable interest in an investment of 0275 , or 27.5 %, and variable motivation influence have a significant influence on the variable interest in an investment of 0.239 or 23.9 %. Second, the return variable has no significant influence with a significance value of 0648 0.05 , and education variable do not have significant influence with a significance value of 0986 0.05 . The third variable investment benefits , the minimum capital of investment, motivation , return , and education together (simultaneously ) effect on variable interest amounted to 32.7 % and the remaining 67.3 % is influenced by other variables not examined .
