Abstract
History of multicultural life in Indonesia is old history. It stems from the experience of Javanese civilization to other civilizations such as Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity, and Islam. Kings of Java and the archipelago has been practiced multiculturalism very well. Indeed there are a number of conflicts between civilizations, but the conflict was just as entrance formation harmony. Conflict, more of a friction sociopolitical so easily resolved. In the eyes of history, then living in the archipelago is promising and is a form of otentic civilization which born of the Indonesian people themselves. This paper will review the motions of multiculturalism throughout history society archipelago. Keywords: Multikulturalisme, Nusantara, animisme, dinamisme.
