Abstract

This study aims to 1) Produce a module of Physics using the approach of Problem Based Learning on waves focus lesson on 11 grade student at SMK of Health, 2) Know the quality of the product based on the expert assessment of matter, media and teachers, and 3) Know the response of students and the implementation of this module using Problem Based Learning approach on waves focus lesson to students at SMK of Health. This study is a research of Research and Development (R & D), using a model of procedural research adapted from the software development of Four-D models; Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. The instrument of this research is the validation sheet of the product, questionnaire sheet of the quality of the module that uses a Likert scale and was made in the form of checklist and questionnaire responses of students using Guttman scale and was made in the form of checklist. Data analysis technique used in this study uses quantitative descriptive analysis and implementation of the module in the form of a description table. The results obtained are 1) The Module of physics using the approach of Problem Based Learning on waves focus lesson on 11 grade student at SMK of Health, 2) the module quality developed by the experts assessment of the matter, media experts, and physics teachers has Very Good quality (VG) with an overall average score of 3.16, 3.40, and 3.35, and 3) the response of students to the physics module with problem based learning approach on waves focus lesson on 11 grade student at SMK of Health developed in both limited scale test and wide-scale test included in the Agreed (A) with an overall average score of 0.80 and 0.85 and the test module can be implemented.
