Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of macroeconomic variables on liquidity projected on Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR). The data used in this study is obtained from the financial statements of unum syariah bank publications that become the object of research through the website while the secondary data of economic fundamentals from the website of the report of Bank Indonesia, and the report of the publication of the central statistical agency. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The sample in this research are 4 sharia commercial banks namely Bank Muamalat Indonesia (BMI), Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM), and Bank Mega Syariah (BMS), and Bank Nasional Indonesia Syariah (BNIS). Data analysis technique used in this research is panel data regression estimation. The results showed that the inflation variable, national income, the amount of money in circulation, exchange rate and SBI simultaneously have a significant effect on FDR. Partial testing proves that inflation, national income (GDP), money supply (JUB) have a positive and significant effect on FDR. While exchange rate (Exchange rate) and SBI have negative and insignificant effect to FDR.
