Abstract

The evaluation method of library collections is an activity of assessing library collections both in terms of collection and collection utilization. The method is divided into 2, the centralized method of collection and the centralized method of use based on the study of circulation. Circulation activity is one of evaluation method which is done by monitoring circulation data. The basis of the study of circulation is to give an idea of the usefulness and clothing collection by pemustaka. In this research, the researcher observed the data of lending circulation which aims to know the fictional co-opticity in the Library of Muhammadiyah Suronatan based on circulation data from January to December 2016. This study uses quantitative descriptive population in this study amounted to 460 while the sample in this study amounted to 198 title. The result of this research shows that the level of the collection of fiction collections in the Library of Muhammadiyah Suronatan Yogyakarta is based on the percentage of fiction collection figures as much as 39.39% entered in the interval 25.00% <39.39% <49.99% = almost half, Meaning that the collection of fiction collection at SD Muhammadiyah Suronatan almost half of it used by pemustaka. While the result of the percentage of unused fiction collection counted 60,60% then entered in interval 50,01% <60,60% <74,99% = mostly, meaning that the collection of fiction collection in SD Muhammadiyah Suronatan mostly unused by pemustaka .
