Abstract

This research aims to know how the quality of service Library and Archives Office of Magelang Regency in Supporting Living Harmony With Disaster. This research is a qualitative research. To measure the quality of service of the writer used LibQual + ™ with three dimension namely Affect of Service, Information Control, Library as Place. Subjects in this study is a librarian who provide services in the Office of Library and Archives Magelang, while the research object is the ministry of the Office of Library and Archives Magelang in favor of living harmony with disaster. Data is collected using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The analysis using triangulation. The results obtained are: (1) Affect of Service (performance of officials in service) is excellent and very helpful pemustaka (2) Information control is still lacking due to lack of awareness of librarians to see the locations where they provide services to the community, because the librarian has not considered service relating to the Living Harmony with disaster with the location of the existing library in disasterprone areas of volcanic Mount Merapi (3) in the dimension of the library as Place any buildings and equipment are good enough, but with advances in technology and information equipment provided such as internet / wifi is still deemed less , paint colors, arrangement of tables and chairs in the room are still less attractive
