Abstract

The objectives of this research are to know: (1) the effect of the students‟ perception of the teachers‟ competence of Muṭằla‟ah achievement; (2) the effect of Taḥfiẓ score to Muṭằla‟ah achievement; (3) the effect of the students‟ perception about the teachers competence and Taḥfiẓ score in Muṭằla‟ah achievement. This research is descriptive quantitative with the conclusion and used assosiative design to do the explanation research object about dependent variable of dependent variable using statistic analytic. The subject of this research is the second year students of al Irsyad Islamic Senior High School Tengaran Semarang in academic year of 2016/2017 with 209 students. The sample was 53 students‟ that using stratified proportional random sampling technic. The collecting of the students‟ perception variable data about the teachers competence uses questionaire method, while, Taḥfiẓ score and Muṭằla‟ah achievement using documentation. The instrument was questionaire that was tried out before getting the information about the validity and realibility. The technique of data analysis used was regression linear analysis. The result of the researh showed that : (1) the students perception about the teacher competence influences studying Muṭằla‟ah. The contribution of the students‟ perception about the teacher‟s competence was 24,92% when the score of Taḥfiẓ was constant. (2) Taḥfiẓ score influences the students Muṭằla‟ah achievement. Memorizing al Qur‟an has contributed 22,44% when the students‟ perception about the teacher competences was constant. If the students‟perception about the teachers‟ competence is increase, although the teacher competence was percepted not change, but still be able to build up Muṭằla‟ah achievement. (3) the students‟ perception about the teachres competence and Taḥfiẓ score in effect to Muṭằla‟ah achievement. Both variable contribute effectively 47,3%, where the students‟ perception about the teacher competence was more dominant. Muṭằla‟ah of achievement that the students‟ achieved was better if the students memorize al-Qur‟an and combinated the improvement of the teacher competence. Key words : Teachers‟ competence, Taḥfiẓ score, and Muṭằla‟ah achievement [INDONESIA] Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh persepsi siswa tentang kompetensi guru terhadap prestasi belajar muṭằla‟ah; (2) pengaruh nilai taḥfiẓ terhadap prestasi belajar muṭằla‟ah; (3) pengaruh persepsi siswa tentang kompetensi guru dan nilai taḥfiẓ secara bersama terhadap prestasi belajar muṭằla‟ah. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan penarikan kesimpulan dan menggunakan desain asosiatif untuk melakukan eksplanasi objek penelitian tentang variabel dependen atas variabel independen melalui analisis statistik. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MA al-Irsyad Tengaran Semarang yang terdaftar pada tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 209 siswa. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 53 siswa yang diambil menggunakan teknik stratified proportional random sampling . Pengumpulan data variabel persepsi siswa tentang kompetensi guru menggunakan metode kuesioner, sedangkan nilai taḥfiẓ dan prestasi belajar muṭằla‟ah menggunakan dokumentasi. Instrumen berupa kuisioner yang dikembangkan terlebih dahulu diujicoba untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) persepsi siswa tentang kompetensi guru berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar muṭằla‟ah. Kontribusi atau sumbangan efektif variabel persepsi siswa tentang kompetensi guru sebesar 24,92% ketika nilai taḥfiẓ tidak berubah. Apabila persepsi siswa tentang kompetensi guru semakin meningkat, meskipun hafalan al-Qur‟an tidak berubah, tetap mampu meningkatkan prestasi belajar muṭằla‟ah siswa. (2) nilai taḥfiẓ perpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar muṭằla‟ah. Hafalan al-Qur‟an (taḥfiẓ ) memiliki kontribusi efektif sebesar 22,44% ketika persepsi siswa tentang kompetensi guru konstan. Apabila hafalan al-Qur‟an siswa makin banyak, meskipun kompetensi guru dipersepsikan tidak berubah, tetap mampu meningkatkan prestasi belajar muṭằla‟ah. (3) persepsi siswa tentang kompetensi guru dan nilai taḥfiẓ secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar muṭằla‟ah. Kedua variabel secara bersama-sama berkontribusi efektif sebesar 47,3%, di mana persepsi siswa tentang kompetensi guru yang lebih mendominasi. Prestasi belajar Muṭằla‟ah yang diraih siswa semakin meningkat apabila lebih banyak hafal al-Qur‟an dan diimbangi peningkatan kompetensi guru.
