Abstract
The aim of this study is to analyze the influence of internal bank and macroeconomic factors towards mudaraba deposit in Sharia Commercial Banks and Sharia Business Units in Indonesia. The internal bank factors are proxied by banking network and profit sharing rate while macroeconomic factors proxied by time deposit rate in conventional bank, Consumer Price Index (CPI), Industrial Production Index (IPI), and money supply. The study uses Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) method with monthly data from January 2010 until September 2016. The result shows that bank network and Consumer Price Index (CPI) have positive influence toward mudaraba deposit. Time deposit rate and money supply have negative influence toward mudaraba deposit. Meanwhile, profit sharing rate and Industrial Production Index (IPI) have no significant influence toward mudaraba deposit.
