Abstract

The internet immense progress generated by IP addresses is very limited. Moreover, it must provide IP addresses to all hosts on the internet. Because of that, an IP address must be unique to communicate computers around the world. Therefore, a subnetting technique is needed to distinguish a large network into a smaller network. The development method used for making this application is waterfall method. Data collection techniques are analysis, design, implementation, and testing. For the progress application, the writer is expected to help students more understanding the subnetting technique in the host sharing of IP addresses. The results of this study indicate that the function of the application is running effectively and the users are quite satisfied while using the application.
