Abstract
This study has the aim of knowing parenting patterns and methods of planting tolerance values in the environment of the village of Sorowajan. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using a case study method using two families as a source of research data. The results of this study indicate that children's freedom will encourage the ability of responsibility in children and the involvement of children in socio-environmental activities is a step to instill responsibility and tolerance for children.
