Abstract

This study was aimed to determine the contribution of childhood maltreatment toward anxiety through the moderating of social support. Participants were 280 people. Accidental sampling is used as the sampling technique. Instrument of data collection in this study is using a scale of childhood maltreatment of 28items (rx =0,904),anxiety of 17 items (rx = 0.880), and social support of 33 items (rx =0.938). The methode of data analysis using a Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The result of analysis indicate that positive correlation between childhood maltreatment and anxiety (p = 0.000) with effective contribution 13%. Therefor social suuport is not affected to moderating impact of childhood maltreatment toward anxiety with significant level 0.658 (p > 0.05).
