Abstract

The prolonged conflict that faces several Middle East Countries such as Iraq and Syria gave emerged radicalism in same times. One of the most dangerous terrorist group noted is the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL) than tronsformed into Islamic State. Throught the propaganda media “Islamic Tradition Propaganda” spreaded throught verious media. This metod have been affected many of radical groups and joined into their plags and starting targeted of all elements societies. The rise of Islamic State in Iraq and Syria espacially 2014 with their main megazine “Dabiq”. In conducting their propagandas, this radical groups be means of two strategies namly hard propaganda and soft propaganda. Thus, the focus of this research is how propaganda in the Dabiq megazine espacially edition I-III by loking for langage and ideological contexs. The metodology of this research used by literature review, so the main thing that will be done researcher is to concentrate to get data and information as much as possible about Islamic State Propaganda 2014. Furthermore, researcher used a language approace, namely Critical Analysis Discourse (CDA) to examine more Dabiq Megazine. This approaches refer to Teun A. Van Dijk. The result of this research showed that, (1) there two form of propaganda used by Islamic State in Dabiq Megazine, are coercive propaganda and Persuasive Propaganda. In coercive propaganda, Dabiq megazine became a warning to their enemies in both regional and international levels. Furthermore, in the persuasion of propaganda, Islamic State presents articels rating relating to spirit of Islam “al-Hijrah” and “Khilafah” to influence others. (2) Dabiq megazine serve justification thta what they done by Islamic State today, is the stages in accordancing with Islamic Syari‟a. So that new members who same principle with them and joining their ideology
