Abstract
This research aimed to figure out how to keep the intermarriage relationship in the term of communication last longer. As the matter of fact, intermarriage relationship tend to have more frictions and tensions due to different culture, language barrier, and some exceptional issues within the spouses i.e. expectations that hard to find its shape in reality. This research used theory of prosocial and antisocial behavior in the term of communication between intermarriage couple. The initial hypothesis presumed that using prosocial approach will help the couple maintain their intermarriage relationship last longer, in point of fact, the field research discovered that the informants of this research used either prosocial and antisocial to keep their intermarital relationship well preserved. The method of this research is descriptive qualitative in which aimed to describe and summarize varieties upon situation and condition that occurred in that phenomena. Expert triangulation is used to validate the informations researcher obtained from the informants during interview.
