Abstract

Video advertisement "Wonderful Indonesia: The Journey to A Wonderful World" as a tourism campaign about the experience of attracting traveling in Indonesia to reject the negative opinion of the international community about Indonesia's tourism security factor by the Ministry of Tourism. From this background the researcher would like to see how Indonesian tourism was campaigned in the advertisement video "Wonderful Indonesia: The Journey to A Wonderful World" This study uses several relevant theories such as communication, mass communication, advertising, audio-visual advertising, campaign, tourism, narrative analysis. The research method used in this study is qualitative research with a structural narrative models functional and functional AlgirdasGreimas. Data collection method uses primary data in the form of "Wonderful Indonesia: advertisement video clips: The Journey to A Wonderful World". Secondary data was obtained from interviews with secondary informants, namely producers of this video advertisement and with data sources such as books, previous research, journals, online articles, and other information considered relevant to the research topic. The results showed that from the video ads analyzed, all of them had 5 positions that were filled in completely and 1 act had zeroization. Whereas for the application of functional models all the stages have been achieved.
