Abstract

This study aims to (1) find out the development of android media PAI learning media on marriage material for students of class XII at 1st Kalasan Senior High School; (2) knowing PAI learning on munakahat material using android media for students at 1st Kalasan Senior High School; (3) knowing the difference in learning independence of students XII grade at 1st Kalasan Senior High School users of android media with conventional learning; and (4) knowing the differences in cognitive learning outcomes of students XII grade at 1st Kalasan Senior High School users of android media with conventional learning. This research is Research and Development (R&D) by adapting Borg & Gall and Dick & Carey models into four parts, namely preliminary studies, curriculum analysis, learning media product development, and product evaluation. Development of this learning media through validity testing by material experts, media experts and PAI teacher. The results of this research indicate that (1) Android learning media are developed through four stages namely preliminary studies, curriculum analysis, product development learning media and product evaluation. The results of validation and assessment conducted by material experts obtained a total score of 67 from a maximum score of 75, media experts obtained a total score of 47 from a maximum score of 50 and PAI teacher obtained a total score of 119 from a maximum score of 125. These results indicate the media developed included very good category so it is feasible to be used in learning. Product testing was carried out with individual trial stages, small group trials and large group trials; (2) Learning is done by making Android-based media as a stimulant in PAI learning. This media is an alternative solution for PAI learning media that allows access to space and time so that it fosters students' learning independence; (3) There are significant differences in learning independence, amounting to 0,000 <0,025 with a value of ttable = 2.01 <tcount = 4.923; and (4) There are significant differences in cognitive learning outcomes, amounting to 0,000 <0,025 with a value of ttable = 2.01 <tcount = 6.971.
