Abstract

The background of this research originated from the understanding and urgency of memorizing Al-Qur'an activities and forming spiritual intelligence needs to be developed in the world of education today. Activities memorize Al-Qur'an and Spiritual intelligence hope can help to improve student achievement class X Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Sleman Yogyakarta. The problem is how much influence the activity of memorizing Al-Qur'an and Spiritual intelligence to student achievement of class X Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Sleman Yogyakarta. This research is expected to give reference to the school in implementing program memorizing Al-Quran and application of spiritual intelligence in helping improve student's learning achievement. This research is a quantitative field research using parametical method with simple regression analysis and multiple regression technique. The sampling technique using random sampling with the number of samples of 83 students class X MAN 3 Sleman. While the data collection techniques using questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The result of the research shows that the influence of the activity of memorizing Al-Qur'an and spiritual intelligence on the achievement of the students of class X MAN 3 Sleman together does not significantly influence the learning achievement, so the two independent variables can not be used to estimate or predict the achievement variable learning class X MAN 3 students. It is obtained based on data obtained from the F-test get F-count of 0.139 and sig 0.871. F-table at the level of α = 0.05, df 1 = (number of independent variables = 2) and df2 (n - k - 1 = 83 - 2 - 1 = 80), then the value of F table = 3.11. This means F-count ˂ F-table (0.139 ˂ 3.11) and sig ˃ 0.05 (0.871 ˃ 0.05), then H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected. From these results indicate the presence of inhibiting factors in its implementation although many are also supporting factors of the implementation. The first inhibiting factor is the program of memorizing Al-Qur'an or often called Tahfidz program is not one of the main programs and given the priority scale more than the other programs. Second, between teachers tahfidz, tahfidz program coordinator, walikelas and parents of students felt less cooperation measured in its development. Third, in the implementation related to spiritual intelligence mostly presented in MAN 3 Sleman in the form of program keagaamaan and daily behavior alone, it means tend to affective aspect. While the achievement of learning in this case that researchers take through the most reported raport cognitive aspects. While the supporting factors of the execution of memorizing activities of Al-Qur'an and the implementation of spiritual intelligence, among others, the first, MAN 3 Sleman has a professional teacher and competent in their field. Second, infrastructure in MAN 3 Sleman to support both variables is very adequate. Third, the cooperation between the program coordinator tahfidz, teachers tahfidz, walikelas and family of teachers PAI relatively solid and harmonious.
