Abstract

This research aims to (1) find out the product quality of physics teaching materials based on the teachings of Ki Hajar Dewantara (4N) according to material experts, media experts and science teachers (2) Knowing the students' response to the developed teaching materials (3) Knowing the material teach physics. This research belong of Research and Development (R&D). Development is carried out by referring to procedural models. This development research procedure is based on a 4-D model which includes 4 main steps, namely (1) Define (2) Design (3) Develop (4) Disseminate. This research was carried out up to the Develop stage of development testing steps. The research instruments were validation sheets, assessment sheets, student response questionnaire sheets, and implementation observation sheets. Assessment of physics teaching materials using a Likert scale with a scale of 4 and the response of students using the Gutman scale which is made in the form of a checklist. While the product implementation uses descriptive. The results of this study are physics teaching materials based on the teachings of Ki Hajar Dewantara (4N) considered very good (SB) by material experts, media experts, and science teachers with an average score of 3.62; 3.71; 3.69. Students' responses to physics LKPD based on Ki Hajar Dewantara's (4N) teachings on limited trials obtained agreed criteria (S) with an average score of 0.90 while the teacher's response to the Teacher's Book obtained criteria agreeing with the average score of 1. The results of the implementation of physics teaching materials in extensive trials show that students are interested in physics teaching materials that have been developed and that there are 9 students who can use LKPD independently while others cannot use independently and fulfill the properties of teaching materials. self intructional, cell contained, stand alone, adaptive, user friendly.
