Abstract

The era of digitalization is increasingly modern, there are many media used for communication and disseminating information. Among today's communication media is the NET TV talk show that contains questions and answers between a leader of the Indonesian state, Joko Widodo. Image is an important asset for someone who should be continuously built and maintained. In the talk show, it contains images created from the picture of the video. This study aims to find out how Jokowi’s leadership image in the talk show on the NET TV leadership perspective in Islam. This research is a qualitative research. The analysis uses a qualitative approach and Roland Barthes's semiotic method to find out the leadership image depicted in the show. The data used is with videos and documents that support this research. The results of this study are that part of the scene in the Jokowi talk show illustrates the role of a leader of the country, namely sidiq, amanah, fatonah. In the criteria of trustworthy images, they have not been explained in their entirety in the full part of the scene. This talk show contained pieces of scenes that contained material different from the first scene to the next scene.
