Abstract

This study aims to determine the Factors Affecting the Interests of the People to Save in Islamic Banks (Case Study at BNI Syariah KC Padang). This research is a causal study which aims to find out whether one variable can affect other variables. The research method used is quantitative research methods. The sample in this study were 100 respondents measured using the Roscoe method. The research variables used in this study are two, namely, exogenous variables and endogenous variables. For exogenous variables (X) include perceptions (X1), products (X2), promotions (X3), location (X4), profit sharing (X5), and service quality (X6). For endogenous variables (Y) in this study is the interest in saving at Islamic banks. The data in this study were obtained through a questionnaire. The data analysis method used in this study is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach and using smartPLS 3.0 software. The results showed that profit sharing and service quality had a significant positive effect on people's interest in saving at BNI Syariah KC Padang. Whereas perceptions, products, promotions and locations did not affect the interest of the community to save at BNI Syariah KC Padang.
