Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship of sex (gender), age, educational level, and income level toward customer loyalty with customer satisfaction as intervening variable (case study on Islamic bank users in the city of Yogyakarta). This study uses a quantitative approach with incidental sampling as the sampling method. The research was conducted through a questionnaire survey on a sample of 100 respondents. The result of simultaneous tests (F test) shows that variable sex (gender), age, educational level, and income level simultaneously effect on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. The result of partial test (t Test) on customer loyalty shows that variable educational level, income level, and customer satisfaction have a significant effect, meanwhile variable sex (gender) and age have no significant effect. The result of partial test (t Test) on customer satisfaction shows that only variable educational level and income level have a significant effect, meanwhile variable sex (gender) and age have no significant effect. Path analysis shown that sex (gender), age, educational level, and income level have no significant effect on customer loyalty with customer satisfaction as the intervening variable.
