Abstract
Disruptive era is characterized by its potency and power to disrupt the convensional praxis of living, be it in the business, economic dealings, education and schooling and other social relations and engagements by the invention of new digital technology. How the university, or precisely a study program, in this case the Study Program of Muslim Community Development (Prodi PMI) rerponds to the challenges of the era. The present paper argues that the Study Program indeed has large potentiality to perform well during the disruptive era partly because its curriculum focuses on human softskills and knowledge –such as ethics, communication, collaboration, emphaty, ethical problem solveing, gender sensitive; rather than knowledge and skils that based on numerical, and mechanical capacity –that can be easily replaced by comuter and artificial intelligent. Other strategic value offered by the Study Program is its potency to educate students who have awareness and capacity support the achievement the SDGs.
