Abstract

Research has been conducted to identification the distribution of the claystones for raw material of pottery using geolistrik method on Gedang mountain in Margoluwih Village Seyegan Subdistrict Sleman Regency. The purpose of this research is to know the condition of the subsurface and specify the thickness and the spread of claystones on Gedang mountain. Measurements conducted by 7 lines with Dipole-dipole configuration used Syscal Jr Switch-48. The processing of data resistivity with using Res2dinv software featuring subsurface modeling 2D. Any line has the spread of claystones is different. The thickness of the claystones in any lines is 0 meter up to 13.5 meters.
