Abstract

The focus of this study was to find out various forms of Javanese interference in the Mamba'us Sholihin Islamic Boarding School students' Arabic conversations and the factors that led to Javanese interference in the Arabic conversation of the female students of MA Islamic Boarding School Mamba'us Sholihin. Whereas the purpose of this study was to identify various forms of Javanese interference in the Arabic conversation of the female students of the Islamic Boarding School of Mamba'us Sholihin Islamic Boarding School and to reveal the factors that caused Javanese language interference in the santri female conversation of MA Mamba'us Islamic Boarding School Sholihin. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research method used in this study is a proficient method with the basic technique is fishing techniques. This assessment uses several advanced techniques simultaneously, namely the skillful technique, recording technique and note taking technique. The data obtained in this study is the conversation of students who experience interference. The subjects in this study were the female students of MA PPMS. Based on the mapping analysis above, the method used is an intralingual matching method, while the informal method is the method used in presenting the results of data analysis. The results of the study indicate that the interference phenomena that occur in the MA PPMS female dormitory environment are in three linguistic components; phonology, morphology, and syntax. Although the three components experience interference, the structural component (syntax) is the aspect that dominates the chaos of the language in the PPMS environment. The factors that cause the occurrence of Javanese interference in the Arabic conversations of the female students of the MA PPMS are classified in two parts; linguistic factors and non linguistic factors. These linguistic factors include: phonetic factors, morphological factors and syntactic factors. The non-linguistic factors include: to facilitate association, to make colloquial / informal language, for efficiency, regulatory factors, interlocutor factors, and factors in carrying out the habits of mother tongue.
