Abstract

The progress of graduate's quality from a university preserve is achieved by improving the dialectics of educational process with the intention of academics consideration. Hence, the one way is implementing the Quality Assurance (QA) program. Calculate from December 5, 2006 until now, the Faculty of Humanity and Social Sciences at Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University are standing by put into action that program. There seven point quality standards. This research aim to study QA program, specifically are effectiveness, through theoretical frame with Scott M Cutlip, Allen H Center, And Glen M Broom. That is Step one, defining public relations problem. Step two, planning and programming. Step three, taking action and communicating. Step four, evaluating the program. Afterwards, the fourth step elaborated with public relations audit method as measuring tools. For this reason, the center of attention of public relations audit is management communicativeness, organizations of ommunications, communications themselves and feedback. The character research is qualitative by means of evaluative descriptive manner; aspire to give explanation from conditions at this time, to anticipate the problem that emerge in the future and drive the chance. Finally, this research discovered that problem of Quality Assurance (QA) program implementations, was a coordinating and communicating among stakeholders. For this reason, to make effective process and solution, so the commitment and awareness among management, stakeholder and quality system control (PSM) are absolutely main key factor.
