Abstract

This Research intended 1) Developing electromagnetic induction props for blind students, 2) Finding out the quality of electromagnetic induction props for blind students, 3) Finding out the student responses and implementation of the props. The research was research and development research type with procedural model based on 4- D model which covers 4 stages namely Define, Design, develop, and Disseminate stage. It was done until Develope stage on developmental testing step. The questionnaire was validation sheet, quality rating, learner responses and implementation observation sheet. The quality rating of the props used likert scale in checklist form by 4 scales, the responses sheet used guttman scale preserved by data, checklist form used for student and the implementation used observation sheet. The result was obtained 1) the electromagnetic induction physics prop to class IX blind student in MTs LB/A Yaketunis. 2) the quality obtained very good classification (SB) with average gain 3,68 for media expert, 3.69 for material expert and 3.00 that classified Agreed (S) for integrated science teacher. 3) the students responses of developed product. On limited trials and broad trials, it was obtained Agreed (S) classification with average gain score 1.00 for limited trials and 0.97 for broad trials while the results of implementation test obtained the props helping the students to understand the electromagnetic induction concept.
