Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between religious belief (akidah) and prosocial behavior, and differences prosocial behavior between male and female on moslem's undergraduate in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY). The subjects in this study were moslem's undergraduate in Special Region of Yogyakarta as many as 206 collegian. The sampling technique used on this research was quota sampling. The method of data collection in this research uses the scale of islamic faith and the scale of prosocial behavior. Data analysis was performed using Spearman Rho and Mann Whitney U correlation analysis. The result show that there is a positive connections between islamic faith and prosocial behavior, and there are differences between male and female prosocial behavior. Female prosocial behavior is higher than that of male. This is indicated by the rxy correlation coefficient = 0.496 and p = 0,000 and the mean value of female is 118.36 and male are 88,64. So, the hypothesis in this study was accepted. The effective contribution of the faith to prosocial behavior is 27,3%, which is indicated by R square of 0.273.
