Abstract

Central Java is one of the provinces with the most poverty in Indonesia. Poverty is caused by many factors, one of which is the efficiency in the management of the regional budget. The optimal and efficient management of regional resources will increase the level of community welfare and reduce poverty. One way to measure the level of efficiency of fiscal performance and regional budget is to use the Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA) method. This study aims to measure the level of efficiency of the fiscal performance of district / city governments in Central Java Province followed by testing the factors that influence it. The results show the results of the level of efficiency of fiscal performance that is not yet efficient enough. The factors that influence it indicate two variabels that significantly affect the efficiency of fiscal performance.
