Abstract
This research is motivated by the findings of the negative effects of the development of globalization on the religious values in students, such as low manners, ethics, and lifestyle. The low level of religiosity of students can create juvenile delinquency. For example, bullying, brawls, violence against teachers and so on. So there needs to be innovation and strategies that can reduce and overcome the problems that occur in educational institutions. Muhammadiyah 1 Metro High School has a program of planting religious values for students who adopt Islamic boarding school values. Muhammadiyah High School believes that Islamic boarding school education can form a religious character. The education or values of the pesantren adopted are the values of worship, moral values, exemplary values, trustworthiness values and the value of the spirit of jihad. These values are realized through the activities of diversity such as prayer in congregation, dhuha prayer, reciting Quran, recitation of the Qur'an, studying the books of hadith, sunnah fasting, and routine ba'da dzuhur recitation. To create a religious atmosphere the school familiarizes 3S (smile, greetings and greetings), invests and always helps those in need. The religious values adopted by pesantren are expected to be able to produce generations who are ready to face the current of globalization and religious character. This research is included in qualitative field research (Field Research). The subjects of this study were the head of the school dormitory, the principal, the vice-principal, the teachers and students of Muhammadiyah 1 Metro Lampung High School. While data collection in this study uses the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis in this study uses data reduction techniques, data presentation and verification. The implementation of the planting of religious values in students uses an internalization strategy with habituation methods, advice methods, exemplary methods, and punishment methods. The results obtained from the study, namely: 1) Planting the value of worship using habituation and counselling methods, consisting of 4 activities, namely: a) prayer activities in the congregation, b) prayer together before and after learning, c) prayer dhuha, d ) tausiyah. 2. Planting moral values and discipline, using habituation and exemplary methods, consisting of 3 activities, namely: a) morning greetings, b) sunnah fasts c) social services. 3. Planting trustworthy and sincere values are realized in infaq activities. 4. Planting the value of the spirit of jihad using the method of counselling, providing motivation through serious attitude or behaviour in doing anything. This research also found inhibiting factors in the planting of religious values, such as low awareness of children, a diverse ethnic community. In addition, it is a supporting factor in the planting of religious values, namely: creating an atmosphere of a religious school environment and school discipline.
