Abstract

The results of research on the interpersonal communication process of teachers and students in PAI learning through five PAI learning processes, namely: 1. Understanding, namely: a) communication is easily understood, b) verbal and nonverbal, using a projector then question and answer, group work, and, discussion , 2. Providing pleasure, namely: a) discussion then presentation, b) ice breaking and motivational video, c) verbal and nonverbal communication, and d) test method through kahut (multiple choice problem models have time). 3. Influencing attitudes, namely: a) exemplifying exemplary examples according to the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad, b) providing solutions for students, c) fostering empathy, 4. Improved relationships, namely: a) for students who are sleepy to perform ablution and participate in learning again, b) good cooperation, c) provide closeness, intimacy, and mutual understanding of each other's feelings. 5. Actions, namely: a) students are able to respect the teacher both in the classroom and outside the classroom, b) do not compare and respect the ideas of all students, c) more respect for the opinion of friends, easy to work together, and empathy. The interpersonal communication patterns of teachers and students in PAI learning, consists of 3 types of communication patterns, namely: 1. One-way communication patterns, namely: a) PAI teachers explain to students using projectors, students listening, being calm, students writing what is delivered . b) words of motivation and advice. 2. Two-way communication patterns, namely: a) there is feedback, b) students ask questions, c) approach students, and communicate, answer questions from students, e) align student understanding, 3. Patterns of multi-directional communication, namely: a) interactions dynamic teacher and students also students with students. b) students presentations, group discussions, exchange ideas about science, and make it a habit to listen and respect the opinions of their friends, d) provide opportunities for students to have discussions, and ask questions and answers. The results of effective communication processes and patterns are that students are able to realize what has been taught in PAI learning, students are able to be empathetic, cooperate with peers, and in discussions students are able to respect the opinions of friends. Through this theory the results are quite good and can be applied in PAI learning.
