Abstract

This research is a qualitative research by taking the background of the Muhammadiyah High School in Bantul. The subjects of this study were moral akidah teachers, principals, and students. The data collection uses interview, observation, and documentation methods. Data analysis was performed using descriptive analytical methods. To process data using 4 components of activity, namely data collection, data reduction, drawing conclusions, presenting data. The results of the study show that: (1) There are tolerance values in the X and XI high school akidah morality books used in Muhammadiyah High School in Bantul such as mutual cooperation, cooperation, tolerance, peace, courtesy, responsiveness, and proactive in solving problems existing, and mutual respect, forgiving each other, always doing good in muamalah, giving each other benefits to others, (2) Forms of implementation of tolerance values contained in the material in the book in the learning process of Akidah Akhlak in Muhammadiyah High School Bantul can be seen in the RPP which contains tolerance values in its formulation. The approaches, strategies and learning methods that are used also aim to be able to apply tolerance values, besides that the forms of implementation are also found in learning media sources, teachers use various references so students can learn that there are many opinions from various sources and can determine attitudes towards differences. the difference of opinion. Implementation of tolerance values is also found in the evaluation of learning, the teacher uses three objects in the evaluation of learning, namely affective, cognitive and psychomotor so that all aspects can be measured mastery and competence achieved by students.
