Abstract

This research is motivated by problem of humans having natural tendency. It implies that humans have the potential to get lost from real life. Life without concepts that are right and without direction. So God sent an Apostle to carry out the task as a coach of the people throughout the universe. Students need to get guidance on a good and sustainable spiritual attitude, as a means of fostering attitudes that have been carried out by parents at home, and as an effort to maintain, directed control, bring about the conditions that should occur and maintain a state of balance between fulfilling knowledge and spirituality, cognitive and affective and psychomotor. Fostering students' spiritual attitudes must be built and realized to instill values in students in full awareness. This research is a qualitative study taking the background of MAN 3 Sleman and MAN 1 Yogyakarta. Data collection is done by conducting observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Analysis of the data used is descriptive qualitative, that is by giving meaning to the data that was found, and from the meaning will be drawn conclusions. The results of the study show: 1) Characteristic of the Spiritual Attitude of Culture-Based Students in Superior Madrasas includes: the first, Culture of madrasa that develops through the core value system of madrasas, habits and regulations or madrasa regulations, the second is the Head of Madrasa Policy in supporting the development of students' spiritual attitudes through madrasa programs and support in the form of adequate facilities for guidance, the third is Learning systems that are integrated and emphasize spiritual values. 2) Implementation of Cultivating Spiritual Attitudes of Culture-Based Students in Superior Madrasas is carried out in accordance with the education concept of Ki Hajar Dewantoro, namely the balance of fostering a full and holistic attitude of spirituality through cooperation between family, madrasas and society. 3) best of education spiritual the MAN 3 Sleman and MAN 1 Yogyakarta on practical in development spiritual attitudes of students get any similar in the parcticum spiritual activity and get deverentsist on call program, caracteristic values and technique spiritual activity.
