Abstract

The goal of fiqh learning will be achieved when the students can apply fiqh learning as amaliyah in daily life. The unfinished learning process and the lack of awareness of the role of parents are the factors of learning difficulties for participants. There needs to be a means to monitor student development outside of school to encourage parents participation. Therefore, it is important to develop learning facilities to monitor student development outside of school such as a worship journal. Based on the background of problems above, R & D (Research and Development) research method was adopted. The development model for this study was the ADDIE Model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subjects in this research were students of class II, MITQ Nurul Iman Wonogiri and validators in their fields. The instruments of this research were questionnaires, interviews, and student worksheets. The results of this inquiry indicated that the prayer journal has been successfully developed with prayer subject for students of class II, MITQ Nurul Iman. The worship journal prototype consists of 6 sections or 30 pages. The first 2 slides contain the opening and instructions for using journal, while the next 4 slides contain important subjects are ablution, prayer, daily prayer, and prayer tables. The results of the validation from various aspects of the assessment have shown very good/decent score. The experiment result showed the increasing of student understanding, with details of the pre-test score that showed an average score at 48 and post-test has an average score at 72. Significance results of 0,000, which means that if a significant score shows <0.05, it can be concluded that the use of worship journals is effective in increasing understanding of the subject and help students to practice the fikih subject in the daily life and overcoming students' learning difficulties in the fikih subject for MI Class II
