Abstract

This research is motivated by the current era of globalization of students such as losing direction and purpose. They are trapped in the globalization impact circle which prioritizes an attitude of ignorance and more directed towards the nature of anarchism, this reflects the Indonesian people lack superior personality while the Indonesian people need superior personality so that the nation's progress from the fields of education, economy, law, social, culture and others so. As educators, we should imitate the personalities of Rasulullah SAW, he educates friends and is able to interact with people who interpret them gently / persuasively, through this persuasive approach he succeeded in making enemies embrace Islam without coercion and making friends with superior personalities. Tahfidzul Qur`an Islamic Boarding School SahabatQu Yogyakarta in fostering santri using a persuasive approach as did the Messenger of Allah, wherein with this approach it is expected that students have superior personalities which will give birth to superior human resources to advance the Indonesian nation. The purpose of this study is to find out how to implement the persuasive approach at the SahabatQu Islamic Boarding School in Tahfidzul Qur`an Yogyakarta and to find out the contribution of the persuasive approach to the students of the Tahfidzul Qur`an Boarding School of the SahabatQu Yogyakarta in developing superior personality. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive field research. The research approach used is the educational psychology approach. The data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis is done by collecting, reducing data means summarizing, choosing the main things, focusing on important things, looking for themes and patterns and discarding unnecessary. The researcher needs to simplify the data and discard data that has nothing to do with the research theme and presents the data and draws conclusions. Checking the validity of the data is done using triangulation of sources and methods. The results of this study indicate that: first, the persuasive approach taken by the cleric / cleric to the students there are 11 namely: habituation, exemplary, motivation, speaking softly, gifts, posters, telling stories about wisdom, giving a touch, instilling pride, ustaz / ustazah positioning yourself as a santri friend and exchange gifts. Second, the contribution of the persuasive approach made by the cleric / ustazah of the Islamic Boarding School Tahfidzul Qur`an SahabatQu Yogyakarta to the students in order to create superior personalities there are eight namely: there is a good emotional connection between the cleric / cleric with the santri, growing piety in students, fostering a sense of superiority self-confidence of students, students are able to fortify themselves from negative things, foster a competitive spirit, foster a spirit of love for others, foster a spirit of love for the environment and make a personal student calm and calm. Third, the criteria for superior personality can provide a good example, manifested through the contribution of a persuasive approach: establishing a good emotional relationship between ustaz / ustazah with students, fostering piety in students, building self-confidence in students, students are able to fortify themselves from negative things, foster competitive spirit, foster a spirit of love for others, foster a spirit of caring for the environment and make a peaceful and calm personal santri. The criteria for superior personality have a high concern, manifested through the contribution of a persuasive approach: fostering piety in the students, fostering a spirit of love for others and fostering a spirit of caring for the environment. The criteria for superior personality have good intellectuals, manifested through the contribution of a persuasive approach: growing piety in students, building students' self-confidence, fostering a competitive spirit and making personal students calm and calm. The criteria for superior personality have good morality manifested through the contribution of a persuasive approach: there is a good emotional relationship between ustaz / ustazah with santri, fostering piety in santri, fostering piety in santri, santri able to fortify himself from negative things, foster a competitive spirit, nurture piety in santri, nurture piety in santri, santri able to fortify himself from negative things, foster a competitive spirit, foster the soul loves others, fosters the soul that cares about the environment, makes the santri person calm and calm and has good morality. The criteria for superior personality have a good spirituality manifested through the contribution of a persuasive approach: establishing a good emotional relationship between the cleric / cleric with the santri, growing piety in the santri, building the confidence of the santri, the santri is able to fortify himself from the negative, foster a competitive spirit, foster a competitive spirit, the soul loves each other, fosters the soul of caring for the environment and makes a quiet and calm personal santri.
