Abstract

This research is motivated by: 1) the age of the students 16-18 years are pass included in the category of middle adolescence or puberty, during this time the students through a period to be adult so that they tend to have active attitude to find their self identities; 2) the students have less religious behavior as happened in Vocational High School of Muhammadiyah Mlati, there are students who cannot read Al-Quran, do not memorize Al- Fatihah, do not pray dhuha and speak impolitely; 3) the disruption era have made the students to use gadget and to access anything they want easily. This reasearch aims to describe the process of internalization of Islamic education values, the Islamic education values that are internalized and the method of internalization of Islamic education values in school. The research used field research type with analytic descriptive qualitative. The data sources of the research included 1) the principal, 2) four ismuba teachers, 3) five students. In collecting the data, the reasearcher used obeservations, interview and documentation. The result of the research showed that 1) the process of internalizing the Islamic religious values on students were conducted through several stages, those were: value transformations, which were done by giving socialization, learning, and advice. value transactions, whivj the process was done in the school by giving examples from the principals, teachers, and official employees, and then followed by students; then trans-internalizations, where this stage had been being still tried and had not already success. 2) the Islamic religious values were internalized to the students, included: the value of faith, through praying dhuha, dzuhur, ashar habit in congregation; the value of syariah, through reading Al-quran every morning, praying dhuha, praying dzuhur, and praying ashar in congregation, reading and writing Al-Quran completely (BTAQ) praying jumat and keputrian (activities for female students who did not follow pray jumat); and also the value of moral, by building oral manners, disciplines, obey the rules, honesty and manners. 3) the method of embeding of Islamic religious values included habituation, example, advice and punishment.
