The meaning contained in the implementation of the Merti Bumi ceremony in addition to being an expression of gratitude for the singular community to Allah SWT for the sustenance and abundant harvests is also the hope of the people to always be given salvation by Allah SWT. Nonverbal messages in the Earth's mercy are focused on the use of symbolic objects in Earth's merti ceremonies such as mountains of food and harvests that are included in the procession.
