Abstract

Muhammad Ilfan Fauzi. 18204020017. This study maps the thought of Arabic education in a national accredited journal ranked B (Sinta 2) Period IV of 2019. The basic point of this research is the decline of Arabic education thinking which is often found in articles and practices of scientific literacy and the absence of maps of Arabic education thought with the substance of integrative thought. The purpose of this research is to map the thoughts of Arabic education with an integrative approach and the concept of an integrative approach in the thought of Arabic education in the accredited journal Sinta 2 Period IV of 2019. This type of research used library research with a historical approach. The analysis technique used content analysis in the form of descriptive analysis. Primary reference sources in this study are the Arabi, Arabiyat, Al Bayan journals of the 2017, 2018, and 2019 editions. The secondary sources are books on the concept of integration and thought of Arabic education. The results of the analysis in this study found that the writing of Arabi, Arabiyat, Al Bayan journal articles used three languages namely Arabic, Indonesian and English. The thought of Arabic education is divided into 4 main points, namely the writing language, the focus of research, the substance of integrative thought, and the novelty of the article. Writing articles in Arabic is studied more by Arabiyat and Al Bayan journals than Arabi journals with details of 25 Arabiyat journal articles, 23 Al Bayan articles, and 21 Arabi articles. The articles in the substance of integrative thinking there are 13 Arabi journal articles and 14 Arabiyat and Al Bayan journal articles. The average article in the category of integrative thinking is only 2 to 3 in each edition. The concept of integrative approach used in writing the third article of this journal emphasizes more on interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary integration. Interdisciplinary integration includes integration of the material and the strategy level while the multidisciplinary integration focuses on the integration of the technology level. In this regard, the authors offer 4 points in maps and concepts of Arabic education thinking with an integrative approach. First, Arabic and educational sciences in the Arabi, ‘Arabiyat, and Al Bayan journals are based on philosophical, epistemological, and methodological principles Second, the substance of the study is oriented towards an integrative approach in the form of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary integration. Third, historical aspects as a step to achieve regulation and novelty of articles from articles that have been reviewed Fourth, the contribution of thought in Arabic education functions as a benefit and usefulness to science, educational institutions, and observers. These four points are interrelated and not dichotomized so that they can reach an innovative-integrative degree of knowledge.
