Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe (1) the characteristics of creative teachers in developing educational toys for early childhood (2) the development of educational toys for early childhood which is evidence of teacher's creativity. This research was conducted at Pamardi Siwi Depok Sleman Kindergarten by using a sample of teachers at the school. Data collection techniques were using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis method used is qualitative data analysis. The first step the researcher conducted a qualitative data analysis. The results of this study are as follows: (1) based on the characteristics of the creative teacher, it was found that the teacher who had the characteristics of the creative teacher was only Mrs. N.R. From this description it can be said that from the three teachers in Pamardi Siwi Kindergarten who have the characteristics of creative teachers, only one teacher. (2) who made creativity products of educational toys from the three teachers at Pamardi Siwi Kindergarten was only Mrs. N.R. some of the educational toys that have been made by Mrs. N.R are webbing, colorful circles, sewing, touch cities, animal living places, cubes, arranging tower shapes with colorful glasses, drawing cards and letter cards, and geometry shapes.ibu N.R. Dari gambaran ini dapat dikatakan bahwa dari ketiga guru yang ada di TK Pamardi Siwi yang memiliki ciri-ciri guru kreatif hanya satu guru. (2) yang membuat produk kreativitas alat permainan edukatif dari ketiga guru yang ada disekolah TK Pamardi Siwi yang membuat produk kreativitas hanyalah ibu N.R. beberapa alat permainan edukatif yang telah dibuat ibu N.R yaitu anyaman, bulatan warna warni, menjahit, kota raba, tempat hidup binatang, bulatan warna-warni, kubus, menyusun bentuk menara dengan gelas warna-warni, kartu gambar dan kartu huruf, bentuk-bentuk geometri.
