Abstract
This research discusses the correlation between the interest in memorizing of the Qur'an with discipline in memorization on students in the Aliyah Pondok Pesantren Sunan Pandanaran Yogyakarta. The purpose of this research is to know the correlation between the interest of memorizing of the Qur'an with discipline in memorization on students in the Aliyah Pondok Pesantren Sunan Pandanaran Yogyakarta.The subject of this research has the characteristics of a superior tahfidz class aged 15-17 years. The number of these subjects is 92 students using a scale of interest and discipline as a data collection tool with each obtaining an alpha coefficient (reliability) of 0.862 and 0.815. Sampling the research using the quota sampling technique. The method of data analysis used in this research is correlation person product moment.The results of this research analysis show that, the variable of interest and discipline has an R of 0.696 and a P value of 0,000 (p <0.05), The value of the result show that there is a very significant positive relationship between the memorization interest of al-Quran with discipline
