Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Gross Regional Domestic Products (GRDP), Human Development Index (HDI), District Minimum Wage (DMW), mean years of schooling, and population againts poverty in West Java in 2013-2017. The study falls into three categories, which are overall poverty, the lowest urban poverty, and the highest urban poverty. The method of analysis is regression to the data panels with fixed effect models and random effect models. The analysis tool used is Eviews 9. Analysis results show that overall GRDP has a negative and insignificant impact on poverty, HDI has a negative and significant impact on poverty, DMW has a negative and insignificant impact on poverty, mean years of schooling has a positive and insignificant impact on poverty, and the population has a posotive and significant impact on poverty. The lower poverty rates of GRDP have a negative and insignificant impact on poverty, HDI has a negative and significant effect on poverty, DMW affects positive and significant poverty, mean years of schooling positive and significant on poverty, and population affect positive and significant on poverty.On poverty the highest, GRDP has a negative and insignificant impact on poverty,HDI has a negative and insignificant impact on poverty, DMW has a negative and insignificant impact on poverty, mean years of schooling has a negative and insignificant impact on poverty,population has a positive and significant impact on poverty.
