Abstract

This research aims to examine the long-term and short-term effects of the non-cash payment system as measured by card, electronic data capture, and e-money payment instruments on cash transactions in Indonesia in the 2013-2018 period. This research is a quantitative study that has secondary data types and is time series. Data processed in this study was sourced from the official website of Bank Indonesia. The method used is the Error Correction Model (ECM) using software eviews 10. The results show that credit card variables, ATM / Debit cards, electronic data capture machines, and e-money affect cash transactions in Indonesia.
