Abstract

The Net Asset Value (NAV) of sharia equity funds is a benchmark to determine the development of sharia equity funds. There are many factors that affect the NAV of Islamic mutual fund shares, such as internal factors, external factors (macroeconomics) and market index factors of the mutual fund itself. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of past return (internal factors), BI rate (external factors), and the Jakarta Islmic Index (JII) (market index factor) on the NAV of sharia equity mutual funds. The analytical method used in this research is Panel Data Regression Analysis. The results of this study indicate that the simultaneous past return, BI rate, and JII affect the NAV of Islamic mutual fund shares. Meanwhile, the BI rate and JII partially have a positive effect on the NAV of sharia equity funds, while the past return has no effect on the NAV of sharia equity funds.
