Abstract
This research aims to know the result of the evaluation of the Akasia SLiMS software OPAC 8.3.1 based on students' perceptions as a means of nformation retrieval at the Mercu Buana University Library in Yogyakarta. This research uses descriptive quantitative research methods and uses stratified random sampling techniques based on student semester level of 100 respondents. Data analysis uses the mean and grand mean formulas that are presented. The scale in this study uses the guttman scale so that the validity test uses the biserial point correlation formula and the reliability test uses the K-R formula 20. The results obtained from the grand mean value presented are to all sub-variables showing a percentage of 77.1% and the percentage of sub variables based on stratified random sampling were 78.5% for semester II students, 73.3% for semester IV students, 77.7% for semester VI students and 81.1% for VIII semester students. From the results of these percentages it can be concluded that the level of evaluation of the Akasia SLiMS software OPAC 8.3.1 based on students' perceptions as a means of information retrieval in the Mercu Buana University Library Yogyakarta is included in the high category.
